In the process of decorating yet another house, I've been inspired by all the decorating blogs I've been reading lately. So many smart, talented people find great things at thrift stores and paint, stain and redo in creative ways to make something uniquely their own.
A cast off item gets a new life, and the planet stays a little greener.

I found this cute lamp at a thrift store in Foley Alabama for $6. It is just banged up enough that it has a shabby chic look.
I may add fabric to the shade later for a more custom look.
